Autumn in Montréal was magical. It really was. In the mornings, light streamed through our stained-glass windows all golden and syrup-like. The tree outside swayed back and forth and around with the September breeze, and the light danced across our walls with it. I must have spent hours sprawled on the floor, watching the rainbows on the ceiling. This is my autumn: a stimulating blend of herbaceous, woody eucalyptus and frankincense with sweet, sharp notes of fig and blackberry.
